What is it?

Ontario attracts French-speaking skilled workers with strong English abilities through the federal Express Entry system.

How it works?

1. Ontario selects candidates directly from the Express Entry pool.
2. If you’re selected, you get a provincial nomination, which adds 600 points to your Express Entry score.
3. This guarantees you will receive an invitation to apply for permanent residence from the federal government.

Who is it for?

  • 1. You must be fluent in French and have strong English skills (French at level 7, English at level 6 in the Canadian Language Benchmark system).
  • 2. You need to have an active Express Entry profile.
  • 3. You must be eligible under either the Federal Skilled Worker Program or the Canadian Experience Class.
  • 4. You must have at least one year of skilled work experience in a job classified under TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 in the NOC system.
  • 5. No job offer is required.
