What is it?

The MPNP seeks skilled workers, grads, and entrepreneurs.  It prioritizes those with Manitoba ties, filling labor gaps and boosting the province’s economy.

1. French speakers get bonus points, improving selection chances.
2. No job offer needed if other requirements are met.

How it works?

1. You submit an Expression of Interest to Manitoba.
2. If selected, you receive a provincial nomination.
3. You then apply for permanent residence to the federal government.

Who can apply:

  • 1. You must have experience in a skilled job (TEER 0–3).
  • 2. You must meet language, education, and experience requirements.
  • 3. French speakers receive additional points under the selection system.
  • 4. A connection to Manitoba (such as a friend or previous visit) strengthens your chances.
