What is it?

The NSNP offers pathways for skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and international graduates to immigrate to Nova Scotia, contributing to the province’s economic growth.

Why it’s good for French speakers:

1. French draws are held regularly.
2. No job offers needed.
3. Direct route to PR via Express Entry.

How it works?

1. Nova Scotia occasionally targets French-speaking candidates in the Express Entry pool.
2. If selected, you receive a Letter of Interest.
3. After applying to Nova Scotia and getting nominated, you receive 600 points in Express Entry.
4. This leads to an invitation to apply for PR.

Who can apply:

  • 1. You must have an Express Entry profile.
  • 2. You must meet the requirements for either the Federal Skilled Worker Program or Canadian Experience Class.
  • 3. You must demonstrate French as a first official language with test scores (e.g., TEF Canada).
  • 4. You do not need a job offer.
