For people who want to work temporarily in Canada (Outside Quebec)

What is it?

This is a special program for French-speaking individuals who want to come to Canada to work temporarily, without needing a document called an LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment), which most employers usually need to hire a foreign worker.

Key Benefits:

1. No LMIA required, which means less paperwork and faster processing.

2. You can gain Canadian work experience, which helps you qualify for Permanent Residence later.

3. You can bring your spouse and children — they may also be able to work or study in Canada.

What happens after?

Even though this program only gives you a temporary work permit, after gaining Canadian experience, you may become eligible to apply for Permanent Residence through other programs like:

1. Express Entry.

2. Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

3. Or employer-based PR programs.

Who is it for?

Under Francophone Mobility Stream A Canadian employer can hire an employee easily without conducting Laboure Market Impact Assessment.
